October 30, 2014, Rangers Vs. Wags
Wags took on the Rangers for a late night game on Thursday, October 30, 2014. They were looking to avenge the humiliating beating that they endured the last time they met. The Rangers were cherry picking the exhausted short handed Wags team even when they were up by 9 goals. It looked like they were in for another loss when the Rangers took a 3-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game. Their third goal came when the referees were too lazy to call an icing violation. Mario "Verizon" Verzillo finally got Wags on the board when Kevin "Smooth as" Glass set him up with 2:55 left in period one.

The Rangers
made it 4-1 and closed out the first period scoring with a goal with 1:19 left to play. Two minutes into the 2nd period, Jeff "Speed Racer" Lopatka cut the lead to 4-2 with a seeing eye blast from the blue line that was assisted by Tony "The Tiger" Letto, but the Rangers answered that with 4:44 on the clock. That goal started a furry of 4 goals in 4 minutes. Paul Mano Manno set up Jay "Roadrunner" DeMaria for a score at 3:13. The Rangers answered that goal a minute and a half later to regain the 3 goal lead at 6-3. Twelve seconds later, Jeff "Speed Racer" whipped a wicked backhander at the net that hit a defender and ricocheted past the baffled goalie at 1:10 to end the 2nd period with a 6-4 score. With defensive help from Gary "The Inhibiter" Hibbler, Letto, Manno and Jeff. Ed "The Wall" Waghorn shut the door on the Rangers in the third period, but it looked like that 2 goal lead would stand up when Tommy Z was sent to the sin bin for holding an opponent's stick. Why would he do that? Ed made a save that Jeff picked up and skated it up to the top of the right faceoff circle. Speed Racer blasted a 175 foot slap shot that beat the surprised goalie to cut the lead to 6-5 with a short handed goal with 5:57 left in the game. With just under 2 minutes left to play, Ryan "Bara" Kuta pulled a puck out of the corner and made a bee line right to the net with the defender following him so closely that he could have been charged with sodomy. When Bara Kuta stopped quickly before hitting the crease, the defender knocked Ryan into his own goalie who was flattened with Kuta on top of him, as they shared obscenities and bad breath. Newton's 1st law of motion was demonstrated when the horny defender came to rest on Kuta's back making a fish sandwich with hockey players.

The 2 Rangers made the bread and Bara Kuta was the fish. When the dust cleared, the puck was in net and the Wags picked up a thrilling come from behind 6-6 tie. Waghorn made up 30 saves and the Rangers' goalie made 29.
