Klinger is back in town.  Papa Joe came out to join in the fun.  Our girl Ania left us for Texas. I'm working on my Ann Arbor Photo Story.  I'm looking for songs that will go with the pictures.  If you have a copy of "I've been working on the Railroad", please send it to me.

Fastest Game in Years!

Romeoville, IL March 28, 2014  Attendance: 21

Fast Game with Great Goaltending!

Reds scored first when Tweedy's shot deflected off of the Czar and beat the Brain. The Whites tied it up on a shot from the slot by BBTW which was stopped by Eddie, but Little Bill knocked in the loose change.  Great goal tending kept the score at  1-1 after one.  In the second, Terry made a nice pass to Little Bill to give the Whites a 2-1 lead.  Later in the period, Terry was credited with a goal when Tweedy returned the favor and tapped one in for Terry to give the Whites a 3-1 lead after

two.  Tweedy skated past T&A and his son t&a, then He beat the Brain with a nice backhander. Mini Wheezer scored shortly after that to tie it up at three.  In the 3rd period The Czar reminded T&A that He was meaningful and that he had not scored since the Ann Arbor trip, so T&A stripped the puck from Berserk and  made his patented break away move to beat the Anvil like a rented Harley.  That gave the Whites a brief 4-3 lead, but Tommy Z passed to Tweedy who quickly tied it at 4. The Brain was screened by Fred on that goal and Fred was glad that the shot missed him.  Mini Wheezer scored the game winner on a nice pass from Joe III.  T&A was wearing a Red Jersey during warm ups, but Tommy Z traded him to the Whites.  Both teams were stacked with talent. Each team only had one guy to slow them down. Goal tending was outstanding and we had a thrilling 5-4 game.  The Anvil had Greg Z and BBTW's number, as he stoned them many times. Reds 5; Whites 4; The Whites won the Meaningful contest with T&A's goal.

Memorable Moments:

  • Beak had a dizzy spell and fell on his 8 year old hip without pain.  Fred kept telling him that he didn't do it while trying to help him up.
  • The Teens, Lil' Bill and t&a, were well behaved and gave Tommy and Tweedy a good work out.
  • Both teams were loaded with talent and the goalies had to bring their "A" game to keep the scores from reaching double digits.
  • Only six more games left in the season.

The Czar was too young to remember a little Bill from Com ED

Time to head out and beat the snow storm home.

One last stop for some healthy food.

When we got back, Frank's car needed a jump!

Thor's Van was buried in Beak's back yard.  He got out in an hour.

My Grandson Jeff's truck that was hit by a 3000 lb. car that was doing 65 mph.  He is lucky to be alive.

Klinger says that Energy = Mass X Velocity squared.  Do the math. Excell says the energy would be 12,675,000 pounds or something.
