November 13, 2014, Banana Hammocks Vs. Wags Jeff "Speed Racer" Lopatka got the Wags rolling on his first shift when he took a pass from St. Patrick Cleary at the point and blasted a slap shot past the goalie who was happy that that puck missed him. Mario "Verizon" Verzillo made it 2-0 with 3:51 left in the period, on a beautiful pass from his old high school teammate, Tory "Snuffy" Snick. The Hammocks spoiled Ed's shutout with just 19 seconds left in period one. Five minutes into the second period, Mike "Monet" Lopatka, Tory Snick and St. Patrick teamed up to score a highlight reel goal that started with a pass to Mike from Pat, Mike hit Tory with a hard pass. Tory one timed it back to Pat who buried it to give Wags a 3-1 lead. Ryan "Bara" Kuta scored an unassisted goal just 40 seconds later. With 4:43
on the clock, Chuck Boksa made the score 4-2.

Just a few seconds later, Speed Racer had his skates slashed and he went spinning to the ice. Jeff got up and chased down the offender and took the puck from him. He then lost the puck to a defender when he carried it through the neutral zone, but he poked it away and fired a wrist shot into the 3 hole to answer that goal in just 17 seconds. Four minutes later Jay "Roadrunner" DeMaria added 2 goals in a 21 second interval. He scored with only 31 seconds left in the period when Tony "The Tiger" Letto set him up. Tory Snick picked up the Playmaker award by setting up Jay for a goal with only 10 seconds left in the period. That goal set off the 5 goal running clock rule, so the third period flew by quickly. Gary "The Inhibiter" Hibbler barely got comfortable in the sin bin and his penalty was over with a couple of whistles that stopped action while the clock kept ticking. Speed Racer had an even shorter penalty when he was set free by a power play goal just 26 seconds into his sentence. Wags had 4 different kinds of penalties in the game. They were caught tripping, hooking, holding and checking. The
