September 14th Pay First, then skate! Thor brought a guest that had a 1944 birthday. Dennis was happy to find out that his age and score on the suck scale was high enough to be welcomed back in the future. He just missed scoring his first Duffer goal. The game started out to be a game of dueling goalies as the Ghost and the Anvil kicked out everything in the first period. Harvey finally beat the Ghost to give the Blues the lead. Beavis came as close to scoring a meaningful goal as any underage Duffer can, when he fired an ice hugging shot that hit Beak’s skate blade and then bounced off of Knarf’s skate and past The Anvil to tie the meaningful score at 1-1. The Blues moved to a 5-2 meaningless lead in the third with goals by Roger and company. Beak Junior scored a Hat trick and then Brinks scored the meaningful winner for the Whites. That goal also knotted the meaningless game at 5-5. Rich Storm used his orangutan reach to score from behind the net. That goal unraveled the Anvil as the Whites went on to score several more late meaningless goals to give the Whites twin wins. Remember, all games start at

A message from Jimmy Buffett as he canceled three concerts.
To all our fans I would simply say do what you can in this serious and tragic hour, from donating blood to talking to your children. Lord Buckley, the great old hip comedian, once said, “Terror is the absence of humor, and humor is the absence of terror.”Our sense of humor is one of our most precious natural resources as Americans, and we will put this tragedy behind us and dance again. And when we do, Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer band will be there to lead the parade. Until then, keep your fins up and God Bless America. Jimmy Buffett Chicago, Illinois September 12, 2001 The picture above came from the wonderful site that was sent to me by Peoria Rod and Hacksaw.
