	Thrilling Hockey Game!


	Thursday, June 21, 2018. Wags Vs Rangers (Attendance 3) The fans were treated to a most exciting hockey game on Thursday night. Wags came from behind to down the Rangers with 5 late goals in the 3rd period. We got off to a bad start 5 minutes in when we had a face off malfunction in the Ranger Zone. We didn't have a left-wing lined up for the face off while we had two right Wingers lined up in front of Ed. The draw went to the point and nobody was there to prevent the shot that was fired through a crowd. It hit Tony Baloney Brogan’s skate and went in. Ed never had a chance, he didn't see it coming until it hit Tony’s skate. The game was fast and furious Wags had 25 shots on goal in the 1st,. but could not score. The Rangers brought in a hotshot goalie who brought his A game. Rangers added another goal with 5:37 left and then stuck a dagger in with 45 seconds left in the period to take a 3-0 lead. Wags finally scored half way into the 2nd period when Mike “High Life” Miller pounced on a rebound


	These 2 guys scored 3 goals in less than 3 minutes to flip the game.


	by Joe "Tommy Gun" Tomasek, Steve “G-Man” Gaul had the assist. Wags started the third period down 3-1 and needed a goal badly, however the Rangers scored early to make it 4 to 1. It looked like the Wags were doomed until the “Swede Line” took control with Tommy Z and Danny “The Mayor” Emanuel at his side. Chris “Swede” Roos scored with 12:34 left in the game with the assists going to Tommy's Z and the Mayor. The Swede scored again just 30 seconds later when he one-time the beautiful pass from Joe the “Tommy Gun”. Danny the Mayor picked up an assist. That goal got the Rangers a little nervous as they turned the puck over in the neutral zone where John “JR” Waghorne took it in all alone and scored an unassisted goal to tie the game with 10:45 left to play. It stayed tied until the closing minutes when Tommy Gun Joe took a pass from Matt “The Swatter” Swastek and made it 5-4. The Rangers pulled their goalie and Tom “t&a” Ambrosia took a pass from The mayor and fired a long

shot that just went into their corner for an open netter to clinch the 6 to 4 win! Ed "The Wall" Waghorne had to make 20 saves to preserve the win.
