	Down 2 Early, Up 5 Late!


	May 14, 2015. Crooked Sticks Vs. Wags Wags 10, Crooked Stix 5. The Crooked Stix jumped on top with a goal just 86 seconds into the game. They made it 2-0 two minutes later and it looked like Wags was in for a long night. They were now a projected 13-0 loser, but Jason Kuta took a pass from Tom "t&a" Ambrosia and scored with 4:03 left in the period. Jason scored an unassisted goal 45 seconds later to make it a 2-2 tie going into the


	A thrilling Game.


	2nd period. Twenty-four seconds into the period, t&a scored to give Wags their first lead of the game. Ryan "Bara" Kuta got the assist That lead only lasted 19 seconds Until JJ Quinn scored an unassisted goal for the Crooked Stix. Four minutes later, Tony The Tiger Letto got the lead back when he picked off a Crooked Stix pass, rushed in all alone and scored a beautiful goal just before crashing into the boards. The pain he felt vanished when he saw the puck was in the net. Roadrunner Jay took a pass from Dan "The Man" Lopatka and made it 5-3 only 21 seconds later! Double Zero made it 5-4 with an unassisted goal with 5:42 left in period two. Tommy Z feathered a nice pass to Jack Iandoli who blew a one timer past the Crooked goalie. The newly wed Roadrunner put a dagger in the Crooked Stix hopes when he scored an unassisted goal with 1:06 left in period 2. It only took Kevin "smooth as" Glass 26 seconds to team up with (Score sheet says #6) but it was probably #16 Jack Iandoli for a quick 8-4 lead. Double Zero made it 8-5 at 12:07, but Dan "The Man" Lopatka blew an unassisted power play goal past the Crooked goalie with 2:06 left to play. "t&a" took a pass from the Roadrunner and made it 10-5 with 47 seconds left in the game. The Crooked Stix Goalie was credited with 35 saves and Ed "The Wall" Waghorn made 18 saves with several break away stops. The Crooked Stix were called for 2 trips, a slash and a hook, while Wags only had 2 Italians sent to sit in the Sin Bin. Jay got called for tripping and Tony lifted a stick and got called for interfering .E-mail me to get on the Wags list:

The newest Wags member, Thomas "t&a" Ambrosia holds the cup he helped win at Joliet Catholic this spring. That is his Dad, Tom "T&A" Ambrosia on the other side of the cup. Wags scouts first noticed Tom playing with the Duffers.
