September 28th Tommy Z was a one man show as he popped in 5 for the Blues. The King called Tommy Z for a 3 line infraction. (The King has a rule that prevents meaningless players from hot dogging. They are not allowed to carry the puck over 3 lines.) When he yelled, “We didn’t come here to watch you skate”, Thor took the edge off with a little humor. He yelled, “We came here to watch the King skate”. (The King was in a foul mood because his new skates wouldn’t go where he wanted them to go) Thor squeezed a laugh out of the King. *After Doc's Hat Trick, he was seen giving Tweedy (The goalie that gave up the goals) a check. He opened up an account with Edward Jones. Both players denied charges that the check had any connection to the Hat Trick. Tweedy is giving a seminar on Tuesday, October 9. 5:30, (Free food.) If you attend, maybe you will score a goal next time he is in the nets. Tweedy's office! It is right across the street from Baroni's in Lisle. Give him a call! To all our fans I would simply say do what you can in this serious and tragic hour, from donating blood to talking to your children.
