June 27th: The 2015 Duffer Picnic

With Tommy’s house under construction, Brinks and Natalie have offered to host the picnic at their home in Plainfield.

August 22nd: Annual Golf Outing.  $65 Food, Cart and 9 holes

Last year we had 14 at Billy Caldwell. You can pay me at the picnic or mail me a check.

When Tampa Bay was up 2-1 in the series, this guy made a bad move. Like Jimmy Buffett sings about Kids and Tattoos. They are a "Permanent reminder of a temporary feeling." My grandson Mike says, "There are no refunds on tattoos, only expensive corrections."

We had a wonderful time celebrating with Dr. Emily Hawrysio. Seven Duffers were there.  Mini Wheezer arrived with his lovely wife after this picture was taken. He did get in the picture below with Nick DeJesus.

(Above) Eddie's brother made an extra large belt buckle for the occasion.  He told me that he stole a toy horse from his kid.

Ed's son in law, Joe, (above right) made fun of Eddie when he and a friend had matching yellow shirts.  He called them Twinkies. I told him that when I was in high school, you never wore a yellow shirt on Thursday unless you wanted to be called a fairy.

What a great night for Chicago, the Cub game was delayed for 2 hours, so the fans got to watch the Blackhawks win game five of the Stanley Cup finals and take a 3-2 lead.  When the rain stopped, they got to see Starlin Castro get a walk off hit to beat the Reds 4-3.

Every time I look at Alex Killorn, I can't help thinking of my days at Riverview Park.

MARIJUANA AND MARRIAGE

Smile for the day! For those who haven't heard, Washington
State
recently passed two laws. They legalized gay marriage and
legalized marijuana. The fact that gay marriage and marijuana were legalized on the same day makes perfect Biblical sense.
Leviticus 20:13 says: "If a man lies with another man they should be
stoned" Apparently we just hadn't interpreted it correctly before!

In 2011, Dan and T&A beat the Men's longest drive, but they were in the tall grass.

Dan got his Father in Law, Fred, to fill that 8th spot. Papa Joe will breathe easier since Fred paid in full.  I charged Papa a bailing fee.

In 2007, we played at Waveland just after a violent wind storm dropped 32 trees.  It was easy hitting over trees.

Must have been some serious hackers to drop this tree.

No Duffer qualified for the Tim Smith Award again.  Beak missed one game in November and Fruitcake never went to the bar.

We have a winner for the 2014-15 Klinger Krash award.
