July 2, 2015. Angry Pirates Vs. Wags Ninety seconds into the game, Angry Pirate #27 fired a shot from the point and none of the Wags defenders were willing to throw his body in front of the shot like Niklas Hjalmarson, so the Wags were down 1-0. The Wags players were so ashamed, that they went on a scoring binge led by Wags' #27, Steve "G-Man" Gahl who scored just 2 minutes later! Forty seconds later, Roadrunner Jay took a pass from Tom "t&a" Ambrosia and gave the Wags the lead. Thirty two seconds later, Jay returned the favor and set up t&a's goal. Twenty six seconds after that, Matt "Swatter" Swacek scored on a pass from John "The

Fence" Waghorn. Jay "Roadrunner" De Maria added insult to injury when he scored an unassisted goal 14 seconds later to give Wags a 5-1 lead! After a 5 minute break, Wags went on to score 4 more goals before the first period ended. The Fence, (Assisted by Killer and Glass) G-Man (Assisted by Smith and Glass) and the Roadrunner (Unassisted) that was 3 goals in a 2 minute time span. Newcomer Ryan "Mustang" Smith ended the 9 goal orgy with 2:10 left in the 1st period. (Assisted by Roadrunner) Wags took their foot off of the gas in the second period and only scored twice. Kevin "Smooth as" Glass took a pass from the Swatter half way through the period and scored to answer a pirate goal to regain the 8 goal lead. The Angry Pirates answered with a pair late in the period to make it 10-4 good buddy. Tom "t&a" Ambrosia scored on a pass from John "The Fence" to close out the scoring in the second. With an 11-4 lead going into the 3rd period, the Wags players put it on cruise control as they watched the Angry Pirates score 5 unanswered goals and get the game to a 2 goal deficit! They pulled their goal and made it interesting until "t&a" dashed their hopes with and open net goal with 23 seconds left in the game. That was Tom's 2nd open netter in 2 weeks!
