Thrilling Comeback!

February 4, 2016. Angry Pirates Vs. Wags
Wags found themselves down a pair in the first 4 minutes when a guy with a zero on his back scored 2 quick goals. If that wasn't bad enough, he was assisted by 00.  Kevin "Smooth as" Glass  stopped the bleeding 3 minutes later with a nice goal that was set up by Ryan "Bara" Kuta and Tony "Tiger" Letto.  Tom "Z-Man" Zagorski teamed up with Bobby Kilian and Kuta to score a big goal and tie the score just before the period ended.  Copland scored 3 minutes into the second period to recapture the lead for the Angry Pirates.  Half way through the 2nd period, Chris "Rooster" Roos took a pass from Joe "The Orbiter"

24 Saves for Ed.  24 penalty minutes for Tony.

Satelite and tied the score at 3 apiece.  Five minutes later, "Rooster" Roos and Chris "Ward Boss" Ward helped the Glass man score the go ahead goal with 1:23 left in the second period.  Three minutes into the third period, Roos gave Wags a 2 goal lead with an unassisted goal that turned out to be the game winner.  Ogoreck scored a minute later to make the score Wags 5, Angry Pirates 4.  Ed "The Wall" Waghorne had to make 8 saves in the last 10 minutes to preserve the lead.  Killer Kyle Sandowski set up an insurance goal when he passed to Chris "Rooster" Roos who buried it to pick up his hat trick.  Chris only needed a fight to get a "Gordie Howe Hat Trick", but the peace loving Swede let the Italian Tiger do the fighting. 
Ed "The Wall" Waghorne made 24 saves and Tony was assessed 24 minutes in penalties.  The referee was nice and let Tony serve his sentence in the locker room where he could have a beer and get the warm water before it ran out.  The beer never ran out, thanks to Waghorn's shopping knowledge.
