Wags 2, Cocksmen 1 with 10:04 left in period one. Charlie "Do Gooder" Dodero took a pass from Chris "Mad Man" Marzyn and gave us a short lived 3-1 lead that evaporated in the final 5 minutes of the period. The Wags players woke up and went on a scoring spree that had the Cocksmen flopping and looking for some Viagra. Wags turned a 3-3 tie into a 10-4 lead in the second period! The 7 goals came from Jay "Road Runner" DeMaria, (Assist Gary "The Inhibiter" Hibbler), Robert "The Value Goes up, up, up" Hall. (Only old guys like me can sing that old
Robert Hall clothing store
song) Chris "Mad Man" Marzyn (Unassisted Power Play), #23 (Probably Kyle "Killer" Sandowski or Jay assisted by Lopatka), DeMaria assisted by Tony "The Tiger" Letto. Robert Hall ended the
2nd period scoring spree with a dagger with just 6 seconds left to play. The Cocksmen started to stir in the third period when they finally got one up and over Ed to cut the lead to 10-5, but Lopatka got that one back with an assist from Shultz. Two more goals by the Cocksmen made it interesting at 11-7, but Marzyn and Sandowski put the Cocksmen away with 2 goals assisted by Glass. Letto zipped up the win when he scored a 14th goal, but the referee was tired of going to the scorer's box, so he told Tony, "It was in, but you don't need another goal to embarrass the Cocksmen." Out of the 20 goals in the game, 11 were listed as unassisted! Anna was credited with distracting the Cocksmen because she wore high heels and flashy outfit.
