Uncle Dan Lopatka made it 4-2 early into the 2nd period when he undressed 3 Beavers and scored an unassisted goal.  Dan knew his little nephew Jeff would cover for him when he made that rush.  The scoring slowed down until late in the period when a bull-legged Beaver scored with 2 minutes left in period 2.  That goal inspired a string of 3 unanswered Beaver goals and suddenly the Wags found themselves down a goal!  With 12:14 left in the game, Uncle Dan tied it at 5-5 with a blast from the blue line.  Assists went to Snick and John Noname.  Tory picked up his 4th assist a minute later when he set up Jay "Roadrunner" DeMaria to regain the lead.  The Beavers tied it a minute after that to make it 6-6.  The tie lasted until Tory scored unassisted with 4:04 left to play.  F. Keane tied it with 3:09 left in the game.  John Noname got the game winner 49 seconds later.  Nineteen seconds later, Kyle teamed up with Jay to put some icing on the cake when he picked up his hat trick with 2:01 on the scoreboard.  Wags 9, Checking Beavers 7.  There were 16 goals in the game and 8 of them were unassisted.  Samantha the official scorer doesn't like to write, evidenced by the score sheet that showed zero saves even though both goalies were very busy.  I'm sure Tony the Tiger Letto and Jeff "Speed Racer" Lopatka had several unrecorded assists.   Wags General Manager/Goalie Waghorn had a fine game making many fine saves.

Chis "Looney" Ward got tossed late in the second period when he asked the referee politely WTF?  For you non texters, WTF is (What's That For)
